This question came from our daughter at five years old.
“Mama, who will I marry?”
I didn’t have a very good answer the first time, but twenty-five years later HER son asked me the SAME question when HE was five years old: “Grammy, who will I marry?”
After twenty-five years of life flowing by and observing a few things about marriages—what worked and what apparently did not work, I had a better answer.
And possibly the answer to our daughter’s and grandson’s question is also the answer to my hubby’s question one time when we heard about another couple getting a divorce.
He asked, “Why doesn’t everybody have as much fun in their marriage as we do?”

Are we listening? Are we living out the answer?
